The agricultural training (agriculture and forestry) of the University of Szeged once again took the 151-200 place in the upscale of the British QS World University Rankings in 2017.
In addition to the rankings of the University of Szeged, similar outstanding success was achieved by another Hungarian higher educational institution engaged in agricultural training, the University of Debrecen.
There are several world rankings that evaluate the higher education institutions, in order to map and present their scientific activities and results, and thus provide a kind of orientation for the citizens of the university, the leadership and the public.
The QS World University Rankings is one of the most influential of the world university rankings. When evaluating, four key aspects are taken into consideration:
- Academic peer-review
- Employer review
- Citation per faculty
- Bibliography indicator (h-index citations)
